Job summary

Holmes Murphy is seeking a Client Service Specialist to join the Property Casualty team in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role offers a forward-thinking, vibrant culture with opportunities to grow and impact client outcomes.

Responsibilities include handling certificates and ID cards, invoicing, policy changes, and ensuring accuracy in billing. A license or ability to obtain a license within 3 months is required, with a preference for prior insurance experience and a High school diploma.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience: 0-1 year administrative, customer service, or office experience, preferably in insurance.
• Licensing: Active property casualty license or ability to acquire within three months.

Responsibilities

• Prepares certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
• Invoice agency bill transactions for new and renewal policies, installments, endorsements, and audits.
• Ensure invoicing accuracy and resolve discrepancies with accounting.
• Order policy changes from carriers, update agency management system, and set follow-up tasks.
• Investigates and corrects omitted items and commission differences on premium discrepancies.
