Job summary

Holmes Murphy is seeking a Client Service Specialist to join our Property Casualty team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You’ll help deliver a world-class client experience by handling certificates, binders, auto ID cards, and invoicing for policies and installments.

Minimum education is a high school diploma; a college degree is preferred. Active state Property Casualty license or the ability to obtain it within three months is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree preferred.
• 0–1 year administrative or customer service experience in insurance is desirable.
• Active state Property Casualty license required or the ability to obtain within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
• Invoices agency bill transactions for policies and installments.
• Ensure invoicing accuracy and resolve discrepancies with accounting.
• Order policy changes from carriers and update management system; set follow-ups.
• Investigates and corrects omitted items and premium discrepancies.
