Job summary

Holmes Murphy is seeking a Client Service Specialist to join the Property Casualty team in Sioux Falls, SD. The role supports client experiences by preparing certificates, processing invoices, and updating systems to ensure accuracy and timely follow-ups.

The position emphasizes strong administrative skills, project coordination, and proactive problem-solving within a forward-thinking culture at Holmes Murphy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; college degree preferred.
• 0–1 year of administrative or customer service experience, preferably in insurance.
• Active state Property & Casualty license required or ability to acquire within three months of hire.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles to consult with clients and support workflows and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
• Invoice agency bill transactions for new/renewal policies, monthly installments, endorsements, and audits.
• Ensure invoicing accuracy and work with accounting to resolve discrepancies.
• Order policy changes from carriers, update agency management system/exposure schedules, and set follow-up tasks.
• Investigate and correct omitted items and commission differences on premium discrepancies.
