Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking an Insurance Claims Supervisor to lead the frontline claims team, drive high-quality handling, and coach talent.

You will collaborate with Legal, Global Support, Merchant Support, Engineering, Product, and Data Science to implement AI-enabled workflows and scalable processes for improved outcomes. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment, with hybrid work at the Tempe, AZ office and evolving in-office schedules.

Qualifications

• 4+ years handling complex bodily injury or property claims in a complex insurance ops setting.
• 1+ year of direct people management experience with coaching & performance feedback.
• Experience leading or supporting AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience partnering with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Operations teams.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Executive communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team with clear expectations.
• Direct daily claims operations by prioritizing work, monitoring quality and capacity.
• Provide hands-on guidance for complex matters, identify root causes, and escalate risks.
• Lead adoption of new workflows, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
• Use performance data to improve quality, efficiency, and customer experience.
• Partner with carriers, TPAs, Legal, and support teams to resolve escalations.
• Foster accountability, learning, and change management.
