Job summary

Arrowhead Automotive, a Brown & Brown Insurance division, is hiring a Business Development Specialist to generate new business in the insurance industry and support marketing initiatives.

You will work with the VP of Business Development and Commercial Lines Manager to grow the customer base, manage lost accounts, and stay current with industry trends. A state license within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• Marketing-related duties with understanding of multiple rating platforms through national and regional insurance carriers.
• Retail agency experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and expand customer base in the insurance industry.
• Analyze current customer accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Account Management Team to review in-force accounts for cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement effective sales campaigns.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations.
