Farmers Insurance - Bruce Ferguson Agency is seeking an Agent in Training to join our local team. You will build client relationships and sell customized insurance solutions across Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial lines, while developing a meaningful career in the insurance industry.

The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-driven, and eager to grow. We provide training and support for Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses, with a clear path for advancement.

Qualifications

• Track record of success in sales, whether in insurance, financial services, real estate, or other performance-driven industries
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
• Proven talent for building relationships and closing deals in a consultative sales setting
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive for independence and financial advancement
• Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (agency provides training and covers fees)
• Bachelors degree preferred; minimum requirement of High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers License required

Responsibilities

• Generate new business by leveraging networking opportunities, referrals, online leads, and involvement within the local community
• Conduct needs-based consultations to understand client priorities and recommend customized insurance solutions across Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial products
• Grow and manage your client portfolio through proactive follow-up, cross-selling strategies, and strong relationship development
• Meet or surpass monthly production targets and profitability expectations
• Provide an exceptional client experience that fosters trust, loyalty, and long-term retention
• Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and regulatory requirements
