Job summary

Farmers Insurance - AZ & CO District Offices is launching an Agent Development Program in the Phoenix area. This 2–3 year track provides hands-on sales, client service, and business-ops experience within an established Farmers agency, with mentorship and clear milestones for growth into agency leadership.

You will learn from experienced mentors, build client relationships, identify needs, and progress through structured training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in sales, customer service, business development, leadership, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build professional relationships.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to complete licensing requirements.
• Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses preferred (not required at hire).
• Must be located in or able to commute to the Phoenix Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Learn from an experienced mentor agent in a high-performing agency
• Build strong client relationships through consultative sales and service
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
• Develop new business through referrals, networking, and provided opportunities
• Manage client accounts, renewals, and service requests
• Complete industry training and licensing with full support and study materials provided at no cost
• Develop skills in sales, customer experience, and agency operations
• Progress through a structured development program with defined milestones
