As an Agent in Development, you’ll gain hands-on experience in sales, client service, and business operations, while earning licensing with full support and mentoring. The program emphasizes career growth and long-term opportunity within Farmers Insurance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in sales, customer service, business development, leadership, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build professional relationships.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to complete licensing requirements.
• Licensing: Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses preferred (not required at hire).
• Must be located in or willing to commute to the Phoenix Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Learn from an experienced mentor agent in a high-performing agency
• Build strong client relationships through consultative sales and service
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
• Develop new business through referrals, networking, and provided opportunities
• Manage client accounts, renewals, and service requests
• Complete industry training and licensing with full support and study materials provided at no cost
• Develop skills in sales, customer experience, and agency operations
• Progress through a structured development program with defined milestones
