Job summary

The Atlantic District is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent to run a Farmers agency in Lusby, Maryland. You will lead growth, operations, and client service, turning complex problems into simple, actionable insurance solutions for neighbors and local businesses.

You will build trust through proactive client engagement, ongoing policy support, and community involvement while leveraging a full benefits package and growth opportunities the team provides.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Property & Casualty license required.
• Experience in consultative sales or relationship-driven roles.
• Ability to discuss insurance needs and tailor solutions.

Responsibilities

• Meet with community members to discuss insurance needs and identify gaps.
• Develop and present tailored insurance solutions for families and small businesses.
• Maintain pipeline by following up on leads and referrals with a helpful approach.
• Stay current on policy updates to ensure clients have the best information.
• Provide ongoing support to policyholders during claims or policy changes.
• Participate in local events to build visibility and trust for the agency.
