TruTeam in San Jose, CA is seeking a results-driven Sales Consultant to grow our insulation and building materials business with residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify leads, conduct daily sales calls, present proposals, and manage accounts to meet revenue targets.

You will educate customers on products, stay informed on market trends, and ensure safety program adoption during the sales process, with strong opportunities for commission-based earnings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services.
• Understand the market, monitor conditions, and stay informed on competitors’ products and prices.
• Meet monthly sales targets and communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception.
