Job summary

FW Murphy Production Controls, a Dover Precision Components company, seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor - Instrumentation in Rosenberg, TX to lead daily production operations focused on safety, quality, delivery and productivity. You will partner with Production Planning, Supply Chain, and Quality to resolve issues and maintain efficient workflow.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, knowledge of electrical components and reading blueprints, and Lean tools

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of demonstrated manufacturing supervision experience.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills with the ability to coach and evaluate staff.
• Fluent written and spoken English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical components and ability to read blueprints/diagrams.
• Experience with Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Gemba.
• Familiarity with payroll/HRIS systems (ADP/Workday).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure schedules are executed efficiently.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to guarantee materials are available and delivered on time.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor daily production performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate employees to promote accountability and high performance.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and attendance records.
• Foster a safe, productive, and continuous improvement-focused work environment.
