Job summary

FW Murphy Production Controls, a Dover Precision Components company, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production, safeguard safety, uphold quality, and meet delivery goals. You will partner with Production Planning, Supply Chain, and Quality to optimize workflow and resolve production issues.

You will coach employees, manage performance, schedule and track time, and drive continuous improvement through Lean practices while operating in a high-productivity environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of supervisor experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong interpersonal, teambuilding and influencing abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production Planning to execute schedules efficiently.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor daily production performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate employees to promote accountability and high performance.
• Maintain accurate employee timekeeping and attendance records.
• Foster a safe, productive, continuous-improvement environment.
