Job summary

Dover Precision Components’ FW Murphy division is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor focused on instrumentation to lead daily production operations in Rosenberg, TX. You will align with Planning, Supply Chain, and Quality to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of electrical components and blueprints. A Lean mindset and proficiency with payroll systems are essential.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
Strong written and verbal communication; bilingual Spanish a plus.
Experience with Lean tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of electrical components and blueprints.
Proficiency in payroll/HRIS systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure schedules are executed efficiently.
Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure materials are available and delivered on time.
Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Monitor daily production performance, identify issues, and escalate as needed.
Lead, coach, and evaluate employees to promote accountability and high performance.
Maintain accurate employee timekeeping and attendance records.
Foster a safe, productive, and continuous improvement-focused work environment.
