Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Field Planner in Port Arthur, TX to support the Lead Field Planner with planning and scheduling on a major LNG project. You will develop and maintain lookaheads, monitor progress, and coordinate interfaces with owners, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure full integration with the overall project plan.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, strong communication, and experience directing planning and scheduling in the field.

Qualifications

Proactive in determining project direction and communicating it to management.
Strong management, supervisory and administrative abilities.
Advanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
Experience with industry scheduling tools used in construction planning.
Extensive planning and scheduling leadership in the field.
Effective written and verbal communication of project controls data.

Responsibilities

Understand project scope and schedule objectives; develop and maintain schedule requirements.
Plan and coordinate interfaces with owners, Bechtel team, vendors, and subs for assigned schedule sections.
Coordinate activity sequences to integrate with total project plan.
Monitor critical path and progress; provide forecasts and mitigation solutions.
Support schedule integration activities and data in Project Controls tools.
Coordinate baselining, data integration, risk management, and change impacts.
