Job summary

The Instrumentation Controls and Electronics Technician role is based onsite at Bridgestone's Biorubber Process Research Center in Mesa, AZ. You will install, troubleshoot, calibrate and service electrical and instrument equipment, following industry standards and plant procedures.

Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, CMMS updates, and working with operators and engineers to improve reliability and safety across electrical assets and control systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Experience with electronic and pneumatic instrumentation and 480 VAC systems.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E and Hazardous Locations; strong troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance on electrical assets and control systems.
• Install instrumentation equipment and wiring; support OEM documentation.
• Operate controllers, diagnose control problems, and assist with CMMS updates.
• Contribute to maintenance strategies, outages, and safety procedures.
