Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. seeks a Senior Process Technician for our Bio-Rubber Process Research Center in Mesa, AZ. The role starts on a 12-hr day shift with rotating 3–4 days per week, moving to an 8-hr rotating schedule.

Safety comes first as you support chemical manufacturing and plant operations in a controlled environment. Starting pay is $31.00 per hour with overtime and up to a 5% annual bonus, plus 4 weeks of PTO and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in process technology.
• 2–4 years of process operator experience onsite in a chemical plant.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to carry out instructions.
• Ability to drive a forklift and operate mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely startup and shutdown process equipment in a chemical plant environment.
• Monitor equipment, comply with safety policies and PSM.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist maintenance staff.
• Document instrument readings and operating data for trend analysis.
