Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Chemical Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead safe plant operations at the Bio-Rubber Process Research Center. The role combines management and technical duties, overseeing the process team and coordinating with EHSS, maintenance, engineering, and contractors.

You will drive process development and scale-up activities, manage budgets and schedules, and partner with R&D for new products while ensuring compliance with PSM and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field is required.
• PSM experience: MOC, PSSR, PHA, MI, SOPs, root cause investigations, safety programs.
• Five years operations management experience in a PSM plant; ten years overall experience.

Responsibilities

• EHSS & PSM responsibilities; ensure compliance of the process team.
• Provide data to EHSS for reporting and compliance; support risk assessments and HazOp’s.
• Lead production scheduling, raw materials planning and team supervision; drive continuous improvement.
