Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, TN seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to research, design, test, and implement electrical systems for commercial and industrial manufacturing.

You will lead projects, mentor staff, and collaborate across disciplines while traveling 33–66% domestically and internationally. The role requires a strong background in PLC programming (Rockwell; Mitsubishi/Siemens preferred), AutoCAD Electrical, safety standards, and automation analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical design standards and safety.
• Strong background in control systems, PLC, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-to-large-scale controls projects across corporate and plant operations.
• Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and documentation.
• Design, install, and implement electrical equipment and control systems for manufacturing.
• Create and review electrical design packages using AutoCAD Electrical and Vault.
• Develop PLC logic using Rockwell; Mitsubishi/Siemens experience preferred; SFC/SQI/SQO.
• Design and troubleshoot HMI applications; commission motor control systems; safety.
