Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Technician for its Bio-Rubber Process Research Center in Southeast Mesa, Arizona.

You will work in a chemical manufacturing pilot plant, ensuring safe startup/shutdown, monitoring equipment, and supporting process optimization for bio-rubber extraction. The role includes a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, overtime as needed, 4 weeks of PTO, overtime pay, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in process technology.
• 2–4 years of process operator experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating schedule with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely start up and shut down process equipment in a chemical manufacturing setting.
• Monitor plant equipment and follow safety policies to optimize reliability and compliance.
• Record data, instrument readings and process conditions for trend analysis.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to support safe, efficient operations.

Skills
