Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation Controls and Electronics Technician at the Biorubber Process Research Center in Mesa, AZ. You will install, troubleshoot, service, and modify electrical and instrumentation equipment, perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

You will work with operators, engineers, and supervision, providing input on new or modified equipment and supporting maintenance planning and CMMS-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance, electronics, electrical power engineering or related field (or 3 years related experience)
• Knowledge of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation, VSDs, and power distribution systems (480 VAC and below)
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, Hazardous Location requirements, and Process Safety Management

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance for Electrical Assets and Control Systems
• Install instrumentation equipment, fixtures, motors and electrical equipment
• Diagnose control problems using distributive controls and PLCs
• Develop and maintain CMMS work orders and maintenance documentation
• Support maintenance strategies and outag e scopes
