AdvanSix seeks an Instrumentation Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control systems in a chemical plant setting. The role requires knowledge of PLCs/DCS, instrumentation repair, and strong problem-solving abilities.

You will collaborate with technicians and manufacturers to ensure reliable plant operation. The position involves reading schematics and P&IDs, performing calibrations, and supporting 24/7 operations.

Qualifikationen

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, DCS, etc.
• Knowledge of instrumentation design, selection, repair techniques and performance assessment.
• Well-rounded field experience applying good engineering practices to instrumentation repair work for a variety of typical process plant equipment.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with ability to work independently and in teams.

Aufgaben

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation systems and control devices.
• Perform calibrations and preventive maintenance on instrumentation equipment.
• Interface with equipment manufacturers, technicians, and support consultants.
• Update maintenance documents for critical plant equipment.
• Provide daily support to plant operations to maintain 24/7 operations.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and P&IDs.
