AdvanSix is seeking an Instrument Mechanic to install, calibrate, diagnose, and repair control valves and instrumentation across our facilities. You will work on DCS/CEMS systems, collaborate with operators, vendors, and contractors, and support 24/7 plant reliability.
The role requires a high school diploma and hands-on troubleshooting experience; advanced instrumentation training or an associates degree is preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.
Competenze
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years troubleshooting as an instrumentation technician in industrial/manufacturing.
- Associates Degree in Instrumentation or related field preferred.
- Instrumentation Certification preferred.
Mansioni
- Perform calibration, installation, fault diagnosis, and repair of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC/DCS and computer workstations to support 24/7 operations.
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics and P&ID’s; document equipment history.
