Job summary

Jacobs in Conshohocken, PA or Cary, NC is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to help deliver state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You will be accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, coordinate with the discipline lead, and support startup activities on-site.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 2 years in instrumentation and control, with PLC/DCS knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• At least 2 years of instrumentation and control experience.
• Working knowledge of PLC, DCS and other controls applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and commissioning.
• Coordinate work with staff and discipline lead.
• Develop designs for electrical circuits and panels using control applications.
• Design control systems for processes and optimize instrumentation and automation.
