Job summary
Jacobs is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work from Conshohocken, PA, Cincinnati, OH, Cary, NC or Indianapolis, IN with a hybrid work model. You will design, test, and startup industrial process automation systems, mentor teammates, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary staff to deliver control solutions for pharma, chemical and manufacturing projects.
Bring a BS in EE/ME/CE, 7+ years of experience, PLC/DCS knowledge, and strong communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering.
- 7+ years as instrumentation and control design engineer in industrial private-sector.
- Experience in design, testing and startup of industrial process automation systems.
- Knowledge of P&ID development and ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to work in teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, test and startup industrial process automation systems.
- Create control system designs for a variety of processes.
- Mentor and coordinate with multi-disciplinary staff and discipline lead.
- Interface with personnel at all levels; manage scope, budget, and schedule.
