Colonial Group in Richmond, VA is seeking an Instrument Mechanic to install, calibrate, configure and repair control valves, electronic and electro-mechanical systems. The role includes maintaining DCS and CEMS, reading P&ID’s, and supporting 24/7 operations.

You will work rotating shifts, calibrate instruments, troubleshoot PLC/DCS, document activity, and collaborate with technicians, contractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years troubleshooting instrumentation in industrial/manufacturing environments or education level of Associate Degree in Instrumentation.
• Experience calibrating, installing and maintaining instrumentation.

Responsabilités

• Working a rotating shift schedule.
• Calibrate, install, fault diagnose, repair instrumentation and systems (electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).
• Troubleshoot automated control systems (PLC/DCS) and computer workstations to ensure 24/7 operations.
• Read and understand manuals, schematics, and P&ID’s.
• Maintain equipment history and update documentation.
