Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking Maintenance Electrical and Instrumentation Mechanics for our Gladstone, VA Riverville Mill. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot PLC and instrumentation issues, and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities include reading diagrams and work orders, assembling and disassembling components, and upholding plant safety policies.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
• State Electrician Journeyman license is required.
• Technical degree and/or comparable experience in Industrial Electricity and Instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and electrical equipment and systems according to established procedures.
• Performs troubleshooting and root cause analyses of machine and system issues.
• Utilizes manuals, work orders, hand and power tools, and measuring instruments to complete tasks.
• Assembles, disassembles, replaces, and calibrates machinery and parts as needed.
