Job summary

Shell seeks an Instrumentation and Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of instrument and electrical systems in a plant environment. The role requires reading control drawings, maintaining safety and equipment performance, and providing feedback to improve maintenance plans.

Preferred candidates have an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related military maintenance training, 3+ years in instrumentation/electrical crafts, and experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (must).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Read, write and speak English fluently; understand procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot DCS interfaces, level, flow and pressure equipment.
• Read piping/instrument and electrical drawings.
• Repair and test emergency shutdown and control valves.
• Maintain instrument and electrical systems; routine calibration.
