Job summary

Fast Enterprises is seeking a Technical Communicator to craft and curate educational materials and training content for diverse audiences. You will collaborate with internal teams to roll out targeted training initiatives and manage content in our digital learning platform.

The role emphasizes developing engaging learning resources, applying adult learning theory, and ensuring materials meet objectives. This is an in-office position at our Centennial, CO headquarters after initial client-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or a related field.
• 0-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to innovate, take initiative, think critically, and experiment with new approaches.
• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate building productive relationships with all levels of employees.
• Consistent, exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Above-average proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience with course authoring software such as Adobe Captivate.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and update in-person and online learning material and content that is effective, engaging, and targeted to the appropriate audience.
• Identify learning objectives and apply adult learning theory to develop content to support those objectives.
• Assess learning needs using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Analyze existing instructional material for completeness and effectiveness and make adjustments where needed.
• Work with other FAST teams to assist with create specialized technical and functional training for targeted groups.
• Communicate learning opportunities using various internal communication methods.
• Upload, maintain, and curate materials in our online learning system.
• Track and analyze participation and completion rates.
• Review learner feedback and evaluate areas for improvement in the learning content.
