Job summary

Fast Enterprises is seeking a Technical Communicator to develop and refine educational content for government software users. You will design engaging learning materials, apply adult learning principles, and align with internal teams to roll out targeted training across our digital platform.

Based initially on client sites for 6–12 months, you will move to our Centennial, CO headquarters for full in-office work. Strong communication, organization, and LMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or a related field.
• 0-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to innovate, take initiative, think critically, and experiment with new approaches.
• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate building productive relationships with all levels of employees.
• Consistent, exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Above-average proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience with course authoring software such as Adobe Captivate.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and update in-person and online learning material that is effective and engaging.
• Identify learning objectives and apply adult learning theory to develop content.
• Assess learning needs using quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Analyze existing instructional material for completeness and effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with FAST teams to create targeted technical and functional training.
• Communicate learning opportunities using internal channels.
• Upload, maintain, and curate materials in the online learning system.
• Track and analyze participation and completion rates.
• Review learner feedback and improve content.
