U.S. Bank is seeking an Instructional Designer to create high-quality learning solutions that enable performance and support learning in the flow of work.

You translate business needs into structured, accessible learning experiences using established standards and tools, and collaborate with partners to diagnose needs and deliver engaging content. You will manage end-to-end learning lifecycle, apply adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and stay current with AI-enabled design tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent.
• Five or more years of experience in instructional design, learning development, or a related field.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging learning assets.
• Proficiency with common authoring tools and comfort with AI-enabled design and tagging tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and update learning assets to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Translate SME input and business requirements into structured learning experiences.
• Apply adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and inclusive design.
• Collaborate with Learning Consultants, facilitators, and stakeholders to clarify scope and needs.
• Maintain files, version history, and documentation in approved systems; identify improvement opportunities.
• Use authoring tools, learning platforms, and AI-enabled tools to accelerate development and ensure quality.
• Share knowledge and contribute to onboarding and continuous improvement.
