Job summary

Our World Neighborhood Charter Schools (OWNCS) is seeking an experienced Instructional Coach to support high-quality teaching across our school community in New York. The role blends teacher coaching with curriculum development, assessment, and data analysis.

You will observe, model, plan with teachers, refine curriculum, and guide data-informed instructional improvements, reporting to the instructional leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• New York State teaching certification.
• 3–5 years of classroom teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor teachers through observations, feedback, modeling, co-planning, and professional development.
• Utilize the Impact Cycle and structured coaching practices to set goals and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with principals to implement a shared instructional vision.
• Analyze student achievement data to identify instructional needs and gaps.
