Job summary

KIPP Capital Region seeks an Instructional Coach to support teachers in using data to improve instruction and student outcomes. The IC will analyze trends, design and align curriculum, and advise leadership on best practices across grade levels.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of effective teaching, strong coaching skills, and a commitment to equity and anti-racism in education. This on-site role operates in Albany and Troy, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 5–7 years of highly effective teaching experience.
• Proficient in managing a team, coaching, and curriculum design.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and coaching to teachers to reach each student's potential.
• Analyze school-wide instructional data and adjust curriculum and assessments accordingly.
• Collaborate with academic staff and leaders to share best practices.
• Lead coaching meetings and professional development sessions.
