Job summary

KIPP Capital Region is seeking an Instructional Coach to support teachers in Albany and Troy, NY. The IC will analyze data, advise on curriculum and assessments, and lead instructional improvement across grade levels to help underachieving students reach college-ready standards.

Responsibilities include observing classrooms, designing units, and collaborating with the Academic Team to implement school-wide strategies. Commitment to equity and anti-racism is emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience coaching teachers and designing curriculum.
• Proficiency in data analysis to inform instruction.
• Experience leading or coordinating a team in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Observe instructional delivery and provide feedback to teachers.
• Support unit and lesson design for year-long curriculum.
• Analyze data to modify curriculum and assessments.
• Advise principals and teachers on instructional strategies and interventions.
• Collaborate with academic teams on school-wide assessments.
• Cultivate a standards-based, data-driven culture.
