Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California seeks an Instructional Aide to support students in elementary through high school settings across several Bay Area sites, including Stockton.

Under supervision, you will assist in classrooms, implement after-school activities, support behavior plans, track attendance, and help prepare instructional materials. A passion for youth development and strong communication with students, families, and colleagues are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years youth development or related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification present.
• High school diploma or higher with required alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Implement after school activities in core program areas.
• Document program schedules, lesson plans, and outcomes.
• Use positive behavior management with students.
• Track student attendance daily and accurately.
• Assist with program registration, outreach, and community engagement.
• Maintain health and safety standards in the learning environment.
• Support transportation, field trips, and classroom setup as needed.
• Tutor or reinforce learning in small groups or one-to-one.
