Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to support a large jail facility's food service operation onsite. You will work alongside the Food Service Director to supervise staff, ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with health regulations, and coordinate with clients and site leadership.

The role requires strong leadership, a ServSafe certification, and a track record of managing food service teams in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Two years of supervisory experience in food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train, and issue corrective action as needed.
• Communicate with clients to develop positive connections.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications.
• Maintain sanitary environment per codes and guidelines.
• Prepare for state inspections as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the site.
