Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Installer Service Specialist to engage with professional customers, manage installer relationships, and oversee daily delivery operations to ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment.

Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical background, hands-on automotive repair knowledge, and are fluent in Spanish. This role supports front and back counter duties and requires coordinating with delivery staff to optimize service.

Qualifications

• Strong background in mechanics.
• Above average communication skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of automotive repairs.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Develop sales relationships with installers/professional customers.
• Take orders by phone and online, invoice, pick/stage parts for delivery, and route delivery staff for timely delivery.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards.
• Ensure daily vehicle inspections and mileages are entered into fleet devices.
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists/Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service.
• Verify product/merchandise, including warranties, are billed before customers leave.
• Ensure returns are picked up and credited promptly.
• Audit returns for warranty abuse and ensure proper tagging.
• Assist on front and retail counters as needed.
• Support backroom duties (auto-load, returns, stock).
• Assist with customer labor claims for quick processing.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
