Job summary

NextGen Security, LLC is seeking an Installer to join our dynamic team based in Arlington, TX. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electronics and experience with enterprise-level security systems. The position starts with local training in the DFW region before extensive travel for customer installations across the U.S.

The role requires good problem-solving and communication skills and familiarity with local electronic security codes. We offer a collaborative culture, full benefits, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field.
• Experience in electronic security installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Install enterprise-level access control systems.
• Deploy intrusion detection systems both fiber and copper based.
• Train locally before traveling extensively to customer sites.

About the Job

We are in search of an electronic security installation technician to join our fast growing and dynamic team. This position will train locally to the DFW region before starting to extensively travel to customer sites around the country.

What you’ll be doing:

• Enterprise-level access control systems.
• Intrusion detection systems (IDS), both fiber and copper based.
• Networking and IT knowledge.
• Superior problem solving and communication skills.
• Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
• Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.

Job Experience/Education

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
