Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking an Installed Manager to oversee installation services, repairs and remodeling work by employees and subcontractors. You will manage installation schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and align field operations with company goals.

The role emphasizes knowledge of building materials, codes, and customer-first service. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required to support field activities in Savannah, GA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials or installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and process improvements.
• Ability to solve problems by using strong judgment in analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating the problem.
• Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and recruits qualified field personnel and subcontractors.
• Ensures all paperwork requirements are met.
• Ensures installers are completing work according to the code of conduct.
• Works with Installed Service Manager to build a strong installed sales team to meet sales and margin goals.
• Schedules and coordinates installed services.
• Works with sales to identify installed sales opportunities and makes installed sales presentations to customers.
• Researches market opportunities and trends to grow installed sales.
• Ensures jobs are completed timely and per contract.
• Addresses issues professionally while maintaining high workmanship standards.
