Carter Lumber Installed Sales is seeking a Construction Project Supervisor to oversee installations, repairs and remodeling work conducted by installers and subcontractors. The candidate must understand building materials, codes, and installation techniques, with a strong customer-service focus.

Responsibilities include project scheduling, coordinating services, site analysis with subcontractors, and ensuring plans are followed for quality work. Safety and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous project management or on-site experience in building materials/construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and process improvements.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems with sound judgment.
• Strong math skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.
• This position services the NE Ohio area.

Responsibilities

• Project management: schedules and coordinates installed services.
• Analyzes job sites with subcontractors prior to starting a job.
• Interprets plans to ensure quality installation.
• Oversees subcontractors to maintain schedules and timely completion.
• Provides project status and resolves issues with the Installed Sales Manager.
• Direct installers/contractors to meet guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance through best practices.
