Job summary

California Franchise Tax Board seeks an Installation Specialist to lead and coordinate staff on modular furniture projects, review CAD plans, and ensure smooth project delivery. The role emphasizes ergonomic workstation modifications and CalCTRA/Hayworth systems expertise.

The incumbent will monitor inventory databases, provide guidance to analysts, and support relocation activities within the Sacramento area. This is a 12-month limited-term, in-office position with potential extension.

Job Description And Duties

Under the supervision of the Business Services Officer I (Supervisor), the incumbent provides lead responsibilities and oversight coordination of staff performing construction for major Facilities modular workstation projects. Responsible for the technical and mechanical aspects for the implementation of the department's Facility modular furniture tear downs, installations, and reconfiguration projects. The incumbent will provide specialized skills and knowledge as it relates to both Hayworth and California Correctional Training and Rehabilitation Authority (CalCTRA) modular furniture systems and the Health and Safety ergonomics workstation modification. Reviews Facilities Auto-CAD space plan diagrams and provides guidance to Facility analyst to ensure coordination of all projects needs and possible solutions. Provides backup support for the modular furniture inventory database activities.

Position may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
