Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Training-focused Product Sales Specialist to develop our store team in the San Diego area, ensuring customers receive exceptional service and accurate product information. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service or sales experience, with strong communication and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Training will cover Floor & Decor’s basic retail P’s and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience required or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in line with Floor & Decor core values.
• Demonstrate safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists for high-quality customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses and maintain product knowledge.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections; process purchases and refunds.
