Overhead Door Company of Kansas City™ in Olathe, Kansas, is seeking an Install Department Manager to lead the install team within the DH Pace family. You will plan schedules, supervise field technicians and office staff, and drive on-time, on-budget project execution.

The role emphasizes cost control, labor optimization, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities to hire, train, and develop staff and to contribute to departmental improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience preferred; supervisory experience in a service/installation environment is ideal.
• Capable of leading skilled technicians/installers and office staff to deliver exceptional service while minimizing labor costs and maximizing profits.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a good mechanical aptitude are a must.
• A valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the install department.
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily commitments and ensure smooth operations.
• Evaluate workload and manpower to fulfill commitments cost-effectively.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, under budget, and to customers' satisfaction.
• Review monthly financial and operational reports with front-line managers to drive improvements.
• Enhance the performance of the field team through regular performance reviews.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing new team members.
• Take on other duties as needed.
