Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Department Manager to lead the Residential Install team at Overhead Door Company of Kansas City.

You will supervise a large team of Residential Door Installers and Department Coordinators who dispatch them, working hands-on with customers to ensure outcomes. In this fast-paced role you will plan schedules, monitor workload and budgets, drive performance, and support hiring and training.

Qualifications

• 35 years of management experience, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior work in a service-based industry is a plus.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Residential Install department.
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure proper execution.
• Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner.
• Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget and to customer satisfaction.
• Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans to improve.
• Improve individual performance of the field force through regular reviews.
• Assist with hiring, training and developing new employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
