Job summary

DH Pace Company’s Overhead Door Company of Kansas City in Olathe, KS is seeking an Install Department Manager to lead the install team, plan schedules, and ensure projects meet timelines and budgets.

You will hire, train, and develop field technicians and office staff, review monthly reports, and drive cost control and customer satisfaction. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and 3–5 years of management experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of management experience in a service or installation environment preferred.
• Capable of managing and developing skilled field technicians/installers and office staff.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a good mechanical aptitude are a must.
• A valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the install department.
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure smooth operation.
• Evaluate workload and manpower to meet commitments cost-effectively.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, under budget, and to customer satisfaction.
• Review monthly financial and operational reports with front-line managers to drive improvements.
• Enhance team performance through regular performance reviews and coaching.
