Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Install Department Manager in Olathe, Kansas to oversee daily operations of the install team and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery for commercial, industrial, and residential doors and related products.

The role requires leadership in planning, dispatching, and coordinating field staff with a focus on cost efficiency and customer satisfaction. You’ll schedule, supervise field technicians and office staff, participate in hiring and training, and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience; supervision/management in a service or install environment preferred.
• Capable of managing and developing skilled field technicians/installers and office staff.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a good mechanical aptitude are a must.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the install department.
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Evaluate workload and manpower to fulfill customer commitments in a cost-effective way.
• Make sure projects are completed on time, under budget, and to our customers’ satisfaction.
• Review monthly financial and operational reports, collaborating with front‑line managers to create action plans for improvement.
• Enhance the performance of the field team you manage through regular performance reviews.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing our new team members.
• Take on other duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience is preferred; ideally, you’ll have supervisory or managerial experience in a company that services or installs new equipment/products.
• You should be capable of managing and developing skilled field technicians/installers and office staff, all working together to provide exceptional service while minimizing labor costs and maximizing profits.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a good mechanical aptitude are a must!
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
