Job summary

Overhead Door Company of Kansas City™, a DH Pace Company, is hiring a Department Manager for the Residential Install team. You will oversee a large group of Residential Door Installers and Department Coordinators, directing daily operations hands-on with customers and staff.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of management experience and a Bachelor's degree. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

3–5 years of management experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Prior work in a service-based industry is a plus.
Must have a valid Driver's License and good driving record.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the Residential Install department.
Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure that the plan is properly executed.
Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner.
Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget and to the satisfaction of the customer.
Review monthly financial/operational reports and develop action plans to improve.
Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews
Will assist with hiring, training and developing new employees
Other duties as assigned
