Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join a Boston primary school and deliver high-quality teaching in a supportive environment.

You will hold QTS and have at least 6 months’ experience in a primary setting, with strong classroom management and planning abilities. The role involves working with teaching assistants, maintaining records, and safeguarding pupils in line with school policies.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and is eligible to teach in a UK primary school.
• Minimum of 6 months’ teaching experience in a primary setting.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons and manage diverse classrooms.
• Commitment to safeguarding and creating an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning and development.
• Assessing, monitoring, and evaluating pupil progress to identify individual learning needs and areas for improvement.
• Adapting teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning styles.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive attitudes towards learning.
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Encouraging pupil participation, confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
• Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress, attainment, and achievement.
• Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and school leadership to provide effective support for all pupils.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child.
