Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers to support a number of Taunton schools. Roles include short-term and long-term placements, with some across KS1/KS2 and others through to the end of the academic year 2026/27.

A dynamic, inclusive environment prioritises pupil wellbeing and creativity. Successful candidates will be QTS qualified, with classroom experience and a track record of building positive relationships within a school setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Confidence teaching across KS1 and KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

About the Role

Connex Education is delighted to be working exclusively alongside a respected Multi Academy Trust (BWMAT) to recruit passionate ECTs and Primary Teachers for opportunities starting in as soon as possible!

We are currently supporting a number of friendly and inclusive primary schools across Taunton, with Primary Teaching roles available on both a short-term and long-term basis. Some placements may run through until Christmas, while others could continue for the full academic year ending in July 2027.

This is a brilliant opportunity for enthusiastic Primary Teachers who are looking to further their career in supportive school settings that place a strong emphasis on creativity, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.
