Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our quality team. You will inspect incoming electronic parts from suppliers, verify documentation and record traceability, and ensure conformance to drawings and specifications, while maintaining stock records.

You will perform visual inspections with micrometers, gauges and calipers, submit parts for lab testing when needed, and make pass/fail decisions per approved procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years inspecting electronic parts/equipment.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Must be a US Citizen for program requirements.

In this role you will inspect incoming electronic parts delivered from external suppliers, verifying that the supplier met all production requirements and delivered all required documentation, record traceability information in internal databases, perform visual inspections on parts, submit parts for Lab testing, and accept parts into stock. Inspects purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements using predetermined methods and in some cases may determine methods and sequences. Inspects for proper identity and dimensions using such measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, and calipers. Visually inspects for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits. Verifies specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists. Makes pass/fail decisions on inspected goods. May improvise or adapt inspection and measuring devices as needed. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Maintains records of results. Applicant must be a US Citizen. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years performing inspections of electronic parts/equipment
• Experience analyzing and interpreting engineering specifications and drawings
• Must be a US Citizen to meet program requirements

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $47100.00 - $87500.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
