Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Ventura, California, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our dedicated engineering team. This full-time role focuses on inspecting electronic units, subassemblies and mechanical components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will work from blueprints and use precision measuring tools to verify quality, with a strong emphasis on First Article Inspection and IPC/ISO standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to success.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with build process and inspection of complex circuit cards.
  • Certified or working knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 and/or J-STD-001
  • Knowledge of ISO9000, AS9100, & AS9102
  • Knowledge of First Article Inspection

Responsibilities

  • Inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems.
  • Uses various measuring devices; accepts, rejects, or reworks defective units.
  • Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control.

THE WORK

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $56600.00 - $105000.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
